简介:

  • I am Crisostomo Aguda, but you can call me March, and I am from the Philippines. Currently, I am working at Mandalay International Science Academy as a primary and lower secondary music teacher and the Head of the Music Department. MISA follows the Cambridge International Curriculum. On top of that, I am also the current Volleyball Club Moderator/Coach of the school.

For the last ten years, I have taught Music and Arts to different grade levels, but my field of expertise is handling primary students. I earned my bachelor\'s degree in Secondary Education, Major in Music Education at the premiere teaching institution of the Philippines, the Philippine Normal University. In addition, I have completed 27 units for my Master\'s Degree, Major in Music Education at the same institution.

The rigorous training I experienced teaching in the Philippines helped me grow into who I am, where I developed skills and a certain degree of mastery in curriculum and lesson planning. I tried to make innovative approaches when teaching Music to the student instead of using the traditional and common ways of teaching the subject. Because I always believe that Music enhances the students\' critical thinking and creativity, which can also be helpful for students in other subjects.

In the last 10 years of teaching Music and Arts to students, one thing remained in me that I consider an effective teaching method. \"Too much, too fast, won\'t last,\" which may not be your conventional teaching method, but this has become my guide when thinking of ways and strategies of teaching Music and arts to my students.

In addition, I love working individually, but working with a group is something I also look forward to. More working brains mean better and more ideas.
